ABOUT AJAIMERU DIABETES SOCIETY

Ajaimeru Diabetes Societyis registered under Rajasthan Society Registration Act 1958 FROM Rajasthan Government. ( Regd. No. COOP/2018/AJMER/100486)

We here at Ajaimeru Diabetes Society, work in our small way, towards making the life of diabetic patients specially children with Type I diabetes mellitus & female with gestational diabetes & overt diabetics, more bearable and more meaningful. The main object of the Society is to help poor children with diabetes.
Other objective is to organise different charity activities for screening of patients DM. So we organise different screening camps . For prevention of complications, microvascular as well as macro vascular complications includes Renal complication- Nephropathy, Eye complications- retinopathy , cerebrovascular & cardiac complications. Our special attention is to prevent diabetic foot complications & preventing amputations – Diabetic foot is the one of the major risk for non traumatic amputation of lower extremities. It is very expensive complication not only for patient & family but also for our country.
We are organizing regular diabetes complication prevention programme,
We are organizing activities for regular education of patients & society regarding diabetes & its complication prevention since last so many years.
We are organizing regular education activities like CME, seminars, workshops, conferences for Health Care Providers specially doctors, dieticians, nursing & other paramedics regarding Diabetic Foot, Type I DM since last 12 – 13 years at different part of Rajasthan.
During Covid & post covid time we organize virtual seminars for doctors.

Achievment:

ADS received the award from state govt. Award from Zila Parishad & Municipal Corporation Ajmer for excellent social service in diabetes awareness.
